GLIDING

For those cadets that signed up, gliding will take place at the Chatham Airport this Saturday, October 15th from 12:45pm until 4:00pm/4:30pm.

Please be on time.

HOTDOG FUNDRAISER

There will be a hotdog fundraiser at the Canadian Tire Gas Bar in Chatham on Wednesday, May 25th. It runs from 10am until around 6pm

Last Night of Cadets

Tuesday May 17th will be the final night of Cadets. Please come on time and in sports attire.

Gliding

Gliding is from 8:45am to 1:00pm on Sunday 8th. Please be on time.

Springz Trip

All cadets, please be at Bloomfield Truck Stop by 12:20pm on Saturday. Don't be late! Let's go have some fun!

Annual

Cadets please arrive at 4pm. We will be eating at 6:45pm.

Quarter Auction

The Quarter auction runs from 6pm to 7pm. Have fun!

Some Great News !

Our unit won 1st place that the Zone 2 Rifle Competition and has earned a spot at the provincial competition. Currently they are sitting in 5th place in the Western Ontario Area.

Annual Review 2015

Cadets are to be there by 1630 (430). This is MANDATORY for ALL cadets.

291 cadets meet the Westminster Best in Show

The weekend of the 11th and 12th some of the cadets helped the Kent Kennel Klub host the dog show at the Erickson arena. These cadets represented our squadron very well and got the opportunity to meet Miss P and her handler William Alexander. Miss P is the Canadian Beagle that received Best in Show at the Westminster Dog Show.

Congratulations Fcpl Mercer for obtaining a spot on the Ontario Marksmanship composite team at the regional marskmenship competition. Not to forget all the other members of the 291 rifle team.

Just wanted to update on some of the upcoming events for the unit:

 

Feb 28, 2015 Zone Shoot- Rifle Team- Sarnia 830 am start.  Further information will be given to the team from Capt. Finlay.

 

March 20-22 Cold Weather Camp- 1800 drop off on Friday and pick up on Sunday at 1300. Further info to follow with warning orders.

 

March 28, 2015- Orienteering Day- 10 am to 1500- location to be determined.

 

April 9, 10, 11 and 12- Dog Show- Chatham- Timings to be determined.

If you have not already received a telephone call cadets starts tonight at 1800 hrs.  It will be a Co's parade so full dress with medals.  If your uniform doesn't fit please bring entire uniform with you.
